post wedding reflections

Reflections:

It's been about... 2 weeks since I've become Mrs Pen.

After months of hard work. We can happily cheer and says 'YAY'

We were really really happy and we had so much fun. The video and photos

are beautiful. Friends being awesome.


Just 2 days ago.
We had a huge fight. Marriage isnt gonna be easy but WE believe we compliment each other in many ways. Forgive & forget. Learn to cherish every moments.

In a week or so, we gonna fly over to 3 beautiful and gorgeous place for our HONEYMOON. Super duper excitments.

I can only say.... this wedding is not just about the two of us. It's about "US" and all of you are just part of our lives that we can't do it without you all!! You get it? :) *through thick and thin* I know you all really sayang* us to the max :))))))

Finally... Thank you to our family who willingly helped, tolerating me and my nonsense at all times without complains.

It's been stressful and I always think "oh no... oh no" & then hey* it's over and we had so much fun and laughters. I know we will remember this day for a lifetime and every anniversary, we will celebrate the memory of this day, and all of the wonderful people who made it so special. Our gratitude is deep deep in our hearts.

Betrothal also known as "Guo Da Li" is one of the important event in the Chinese Wedding, in fact without this, the custom is considered invalid. This gesture has a meaning to prove the sincerity towards the marriage between the binding of two families and the promises of taking care of the bride. The groom will prepare the betrothal gifts based on the dialacts and requirements of both the family.

my playful hubby...

Early mornings been receiving lots of text messages etc. Everybody started getting really anxious at my wedidng. They went purchasing dresses, whats-aping me pictures and ideas. <3<3<3 ultimate love. Touched* my heart to di max!

Finally just completed my emcee scripts. My two best friends are gonna be my emcees so exciting yah. both of them did exactly the same thing, really cracks me up and brightens my day.

There were so many complications going on and I still have some unsettled issues. I guess everything should just fall into place more or less on that day... right???

Early sunday morning, travel down to bedok spatique to have my waxing done by PeiJun and signed another 2 times waxing with them. PJ is really good!
Then Had my nails done @ colour contour amk.
did classic mani n pedi plus a foot mask + simple nail art for my photoshoot

Before Make Over - My clean face!
the night before i used SKII mask, toner, biotherm moisturizer
woke up @ 8 am to cleanse my face with biotherm cleanser, toner, moisturizer, eye gel, skII essence

after make over. notice my left eye is smaller? shrugs...

overall rating of myself, young and the bridal is 7/10
We mainained good chemistry with my photographer. Although he looks like some guy who's high on alcohol and nicotine but overall we communicated our ideas and i got what i want. didnt like 2 of my dresses and hair do :( bumps... but still have so many shoots to take... gonna work hard next week for my local shoot, 1 indoor shoot and outdoor shoot.... :)

Many peeps have been discussing about the jb bridal shops vs spore bridal shops. O well... I guessed both have their own pros and cons. One thing for sure, you have to do serious research on the bridal shops that your gonna select and ask for the portfolio of the photographer and MUA. i believe that bridal shops in msia has limited designs on gowns for photo shoot so your bound to bump into peeps wearng the same thing as yours for sure. Similarly for SG....
I cant tell if my shoot will turn out great but i'll cross my fingers, keep the smile and love my hubby to nuts :] here comes the sun... i see my bright bright future
